
ABOUT MY FARM
Triple J Cellars is a "postage stamp-sized" organic farm located in sunny Pacifica, California. Ten years ago I began terracing an unused side yard at my residence and it has since blossomed. I like to call it my wine making hobby gone wild. My apple trees and plum trees grow happily along side a variety of other vegetables and I am proud to have transformed my rocky hillside into Triple J Cellars, a CCOF certified organic farm.
Many years ago, Pacifica was a Spanish Land Grant with numerous crops grown year round. Now, though mostly an urban sprawl, there is once again a small piece of productive ground. In the frost-free, coastal environment, I am also able to grow tropical plants such as white ginger. White ginger is an exciting and unusual crop to have at the Farmers' Markets! It makes an excellent cooking medium and the cut flowers have a beautiful aroma.
